Advanced Female Health Blood Test

Book an advanced female hormone blood test with an appointment after to discuss the results.

Stop wondering whether something is “off”.

Maybe you’re exhausted when you shouldn’t be. Your weight has changed. Your hair is thinning. Your periods, mood or energy feel different. Your brain doesn’t feel as sharp as it used to.

Or perhaps you simply want a much clearer picture of what’s happening inside your body — rather than being told that your blood tests are “normal”.

Our Advanced Female Health Blood Test takes a deeper look at the areas that can influence how you feel now — and your health for the future.

And importantly, we don’t just send you a set of results.

You’ll have a dedicated follow-up appointment with a doctor to go through them properly, explain what they mean for you, and discuss what happens next.

A comprehensive look at your health

Your blood test investigates key areas of female health, including:

1. Hormonal Health

FSH, LH, oestradiol, testosterone, SHBG, Free Androgen Index and prolactin.

Helping us build a picture of your hormonal health and investigate symptoms such as changes to periods, libido, mood, hair, skin and energy.

2. Thyroid Health

TSH and Free T4.

Because thyroid problems can sometimes contribute to symptoms including tiredness, weight changes, hair loss, low mood and difficulty concentrating.

3. Energy & Nutritional Health

Vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, iron profile, magnesium and zinc.

Looking for deficiencies or imbalances that may be contributing to fatigue, poor concentration, hair changes or simply not feeling your best.

4. Metabolic Health

HbA1c.

Giving us insight into your blood-sugar health and helping identify increased metabolic risk.

5. Cardiovascular Health

Full lipid profile.

Looking beyond symptoms today to consider your longer-term heart and cardiovascular health.

6. Liver & Kidney Health

Liver and kidney profiles.

Important markers of how these key organs are functioning.

7. Full Blood Count

Looking at your red and white blood cells and platelets, including checking for signs such as anaemia.

8. Cortisol

A morning cortisol measurement to provide additional information where symptoms may warrant further investigation.

9. Bone & Mineral Health

Calcium, alongside vitamin D and other relevant markers.

Particularly important as we think about women's health through midlife and beyond.

10. Female-Specific Markers

Depending on your age, your panel will also include AMH if you are under 50 or CA125 if you are over 50.*

This isn't just a blood test.

The real value is understanding what the results mean for YOU.

Once your results are back, you'll have a dedicated follow-up appointment with one of our doctors.

We’ll go through your results, explain anything that needs attention, put the different pieces together and discuss sensible next steps.

Where appropriate, this may include treatment, lifestyle recommendations, further investigation or a prescription.

With your consent, we can also send a letter to your NHS GP so that your care remains joined up.

We make the blood test easy, too.

You can attend one of our available clinics for your blood draw or, where available, arrange for a nurse to visit your home or workplace.

We’ll always try to accommodate your preferred option wherever possible.

CA125 is not a screening test for ovarian cancer and can be raised for a number of benign reasons. AMH provides information about ovarian reserve but does not, by itself, measure fertility or predict the likelihood of natural conception. Your doctor will interpret these results in the context of your individual circumstances.
